When to contact us
Don't risk enforcement action, contact us if you have queries about paying your debts or wish to provide feedback at:
- for overdue fines (including court fines) call us on 1800 659 538 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- for overdue state debts call us on (08) 8463 2725 or email email@example.com.
If you have queries about the overdue fine or state debt
If you have a question about your fine or state debt - how or why it was applied - please call the State Government department or Public Authority that issued the original notice to you. Check the original expiation notice or invoice for contact details.
Compliments, complaints and feedback
If you would like to raise any concerns or provide feedback about your dealings with the Fines Unit, please call on 1800 659 538 (toll free). Alternatively, more information about how you can provide feedback, or raise a complaint is available on the Attorney-General's Department website.
The Ombudsman is available to assist people who have complaints against the administrative actions of South Australian Government departments or agencies, and can be contacted via the Ombudsman SA website or by phoning (08) 8226 8699 or 1800 182 150 (country SA toll free).
If you have not attempted to resolve the issue with the Fines Unit, then the Ombudsman may request that you do so before it formally records and/or investigates your complaint.
